Here is another leak off the upcoming Vintage Album called “Big Business” f/ Brand Nubian. The Vintage Album is slated for release August 28, 2012 and it features Kurtis Blow, N.O.R.E, DMC, Spoonie Gee, Craig G, Kool G Rap, Brand Nubian, Mic Geronimo, and more.

Created with two purposes in mind, The Vintage Album was intended not only to salute Hip-Hop’s pioneers but also to re-create the sound and feel of the early 80’s through the mid 90’s.

Fokis Releases “A Vintage State Of Mind” Mixtape (Hosted By Sadat X & DJ Chonz)

The time is now here, as Fokis’ A Vintage State Of Mind mixtape is now available! Serving as the official prelude to Fokis’ The Vintage Album, the mixtape features guest appearances from Sadat X, King Tee and more. The mix tape comes with a Graffiti inspired Black book with many legends doing tags, throw ups and pieces. "For me this mix tape is special because it is my first solo project in a while. It was fun creating this material and I look forward to connecting with my audience." says Fokis

As the executive producer, Fokis took great pains to capture the authenticity of the music as sonically and accurately as possible. Every rap legend got matched with a new track that captured the spirit of their sound perfectly. The result is a beautifully crafted, collection of hard-hitting, rhythmic songs that still represents today’s generation in Hip-Hop.
